God said, "come up and see me, make me smile."

I enjoyed the music.

I toured with him at the beginning of the 80s.  Just heard this on Radio 6 - RIP

I've just read this on MSN news. I loved that record. R.I.P Steve.

RIP Steve, a very innovative songwriter and, outside my usual genre, one of my favs.

Very sad news, "Make Me Smile..." is high on my all-time favourites list.  RIP Steve.

Aww, sad to hear. One of my favourites. RIP, Steve.

thanks for the music...r.i.p

Cracking bloke - sad loss.

Well, thank you for telling me that.

Oops, sorry. I meant to post that on a different thread about this.

I liked him. A brilliant entertainer. R.I.P.

Come Up And See Me was played on the radio yesterday morning, and when I saw he had passed I looked up to see when as I assumed it had been played as a tribute, but he didn't pass till Sunday - so glad his music is still being played.  I saw them at the Club Noreik when I was at Tottenham Tech.
