I have only recently found this superb site so know nothing about its history, when it startedhow much has it grown etc etc. Can anyone fill in the gaps.

I do not know the official history of AB but from what I can glean by delving back through the earliest answers on the site and those more recent is:

• The first listed Qs were posted during December 2000


• The site was acquired in June 2004 by Crystal Guides Ltd., after which the site recorded an immediate jump from 10,000 users per month to around 400,000

There must be many more factoids I have yet to find.
