Job Centre

Does anyone here work or know people working at their local Job Centre ? Whats it like working there ? They must have had some extensive training. Also, is it true that some staff were previously unemployed before working at the centre ? How would someone go about getting employment there ?

I have a mate who used to work there. I think they look for previous suitable experience- office-related/people-friendly jobs. I wouldn't look there though, my friend said it was grim, and you get a lot of abuse. You also have to go along with the government's (sometimes) anal procedures which you may not agree with. What would you most like to do, Alfie?
