Our old baby

Our dog is 17. Once a funny, happy, laughing girl she is now reduced to wearing diapers, getting lost in the house, sleeping 90% of the day and disliking everyone, including us. She is blind, deaf and is losing the use of her back legs. I really think it's time to put her out of her torment but my husband thinks otherwise. I know no one can tell anyone when it's time to let go, even our vet has said she is just so old there is nothing to do for her but make her as comfortable as possible. To me, it horrible seeing her like this. To my husband, it's horrible to end her life. What a horrible place we are in.
