Forget the above -You need British birds!

Misstee I need another shot at Q2 to try to make amends for my earlier blunder!


The answer is BLACKCAP = a warbler and also a cap worn by a judge before passing sentence of death (by hanging)


By the way, I have never met the meaning of "goose" as used in Q6! We DO live and learn.

Crofter: Curious as to whether we may be neighbours of sorts - lots of crofters in these 'ere parts.

I have just been reading the answer "Spruce Goose" - so this GOOSE theme is recurring!
