Does anyone know Doctor Who's first name please. I have tried Google but cannot find it.

I don't think he has a first name, although I recall in one of the Jon Pertwee episodes he said his name was John Smith. Nobody even calls him "Doctor Who" in the episodes, it's always "Doctor", although for some reason Sylvester McCoy was called "Professor" by his companion. In a sense he's like Colombo, Quincy and McGyver - people without first names, although if they do have first names I've never heard them.

...as promised here I am reporting back...the font of all Dr. Who knowlage has spoken... " when John Pertwee first regenerated into the Dr he did call himself Dr John Smith for a while, this is not his real name , but a name he used on earth " ...sorry to dissapoint but he states that in no episode has his real name ever been revealed....
