Why 'followers'?

As i recall the clue was 'Supporters yelling loud for Henry'

I said to substitute F (forte loud) for H (henry- si unit)

Hollowers becomes Followers - supporters.

I thought 'hollowers' dug things out but 'hollerers' shouted.

I have no doubt whatsoever that you are correct but I have a feeling the compiler may have messed up( although my dictionary is a shortened concise) . Maybe I've got it all wrong .- unless there's more to this clue that meets the eye. Hollowing and hollering often get mixed up...I'll drop him an email - he's always very helpful .
