hello all,

can anyone tell me the latest security regs that you have to go through at airports. I'm off on hols soon, so want to see a basic checklist. I'm also checking with Virgin (who i'm flying with).

Since 6th November, common security rules have been in place for all airports within the EU. Details are on the Department for Transport's website:

you cant carry any liquids and all make up type stuff has to be in a see through plastic bag they give you and any hair gel etc has to be thrown if over 100ml I think even if it is almost empty and under that - it depends on what it says on can. only one hand luggage bag so even handbag has to fit in it and no drinks either through passport etc but you can buy on other side which is odd i thought that was at stansted end of november this year
