To all site contributors - We are slightly elderly and have only discovered this site this year. We are not into chat rooms or blogs but would like to thank all the contributors to this site and to wish you all a Happy New Year.
You have increased our pleasure enormously and each weekend we rush to see what you all have been saying � as well as helping us to finish our various crosswords. Tips of books, pens and other sites have also been much appreciated.

Thanks for that. Happy New Year to you too! I don't go into chat rooms either, and used to 'view' this site only, but then decided to register. I find that the questions have usually been answered - I mean, the ones I actually know the answers to! But it IS a lovely site. I do the Telegraph crossword and this site is a GREAT help. But I've managed to finish the crossword myself today!

Like you I only joined the site this year and continue to be absolutly amazed at peoples knowledge and kindness in sharing that knowledge.
