Pub Quiz
11 Answers
Afternoon All,
Not sure if this is the best place to post this question but it looks like a good candidate.
I have to organise a pub quiz in the not too distant future and I was wondering if there were web sites for this purpose? Or how I'd go about it?
This is the first time I've ever done anything like this so I'd really appreciate any advice or help.
Cheers

Hi China Doll
There are no set rules for providing pub quizzes and the numbers of questions asked may vary from anything between 20 and 100 depending on the amount of time allocated during the evening.
However it is always advisable to vary the level of difficulty so that some answers are easily determined by the majority of quizzers whilst a few answers will probably only be known by a minority.
It is also important to vary the range of subjects included, so as to provide something of interest to all, and I normally include sets of about 5 consecutive questions on one topic followed by another 5 with different subject matter.
There are a number of web sites were you are able to obtain information and the following sites may be particularly useful ....

Thank you so much for your help, I will look at some of the links over the weekend.
Crofter that's really nice of you, yes, I do have a safe email address, it's [email protected] and I'd really appreciate the list. (The pub is a social club type thing so does not have an email address alas). Thanks again.

Good morning,
Yes Crofter, I did recieve your email... unfortunately I had to get a friend to send the email to my current address (can't put on AB as has actual name on it) as I couldn't access it so have not yet responded personally but I will.
All the attachements opened and I've got a lot more of an idea about what I'm doing.
Unfortunately I've also been zapped this morning on AB (no, not got a clue why either) so I'm not sure when you'll get this message but thank you once again!
