The Volkswagen Scirocco WAS spelt with 8 letters although the wind can be spelt with 7.

Hello, patchett. I do not know of a car Chinook, only a helicopter! I think they are probably misspelling Scirocco as Sirocco, as they are misspelling Nissan.

I've also been looking at Chinook,apparently it's a type of motorhome.
The clue includes the word rainy and I cannot find mention of rain with sirocco, only hot humid dusty dry becoming moist etc . Likewise Chinook is warm dry moist.I am now a little confused as to why I can't find reference to rain !! unless they are both wrong. Sirocco does appear many times on quizzes about cars so I suppose it is the most obvious, unless anyone knows different ?? xx
