Red War?

When I was a student, we went to an art exhibition in Swiss Cottage, London (about 1983) - there was as picture which I think was called 'Red War'. 3 Soldiers were in an alley, with their backs to 'us' getting ready to exit the alley into the onslaught. Sadly, I cannot remember the artist, but this painting has stuck in my mind ever since. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know who the artist is and whether I can get a print? I am not a war monger - it was just an amazingly emotive painting
