A very big CONGRATULATIONS to wickedtongue for the first (I think) Grand Slam - fantastic. As for me, its back to the drawing board after being totally 'shazzered' for the second week running. Talk to you all next week - have a good one!

Have you tried at the begining of a post seekeerz? I usually use that at the end of the passage I want in bold and it seems to work.

Congratulations wickedtongue. Like most people I got Balsa wood,but I am completely in awe of someone who get a clean sweep. Will try harder next week but somehow I feel it won't make a lot of difference!!!!!!

thanks JJ, have just downloaded my puzzle and read your message, as you say, the puzzle has sort-of nose-dived after all that - however we'll have picked ourselves up again by next weekend and when Rob finally gets to see this thread, he'll get an eyeful. maybe bold typing and excitement don't go together but I couldn't wait to put up the thread !!! cheers for now, Steff

I still do not understand the scoring system! Never matter -

But, presumably a Perfect score has not been achieved, since wickedtongue was not the first to give 'Balsa Wood'?

Is not a Perfect score when all four answers are together and quoted for the first time .... in some way this should be reflected in the scoring?

Have just limped belatedly along to find out what all the excitement was about. And have discovered it's amazing. Can't get over Wickedtongue predicting those answers. I could have been guessing for weeks and failed to find the last two. So a very well done and congratualtions to Wickedtongue. . We'll expect it every week now! I'm hopeless at getting the links but hope I've now mastered the bold - but not at all sure.
