A sapper in new tower. Is this minaret? If so, why?
Polish device for carrying the sick. Why should this be "stretcher"?

A sapper a R.E. ( royal engineer ) in mint ( new ) = minaret
Mint is new , inside is A and RE for royal engineer giving you Minaret
I think a stretcher is something used in the polishing of leather.
I think a stretcher is a length of fabric (or whatever) supported by 2 poles - by which it is carried.
well done kettledrum. It's just clicked - polish - poles !!!!!!
My brain must be wearing out !!!!!
