Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more sweaty and more bad tempered(?) Rough winds do shake the darling buds of APRIL(?) And the SETTER's lease hath all too short a date!
We do our best to bring a bit of culture to the Shrubbery and end up in turmoil! Last week, there were more false trails than an episode of Taggert. Quite frankly, it was murrrrrder!
For predictions linked to WIND (correct answer was JAMMER) I can accept WIND BREAK, but cannot condone word reversal (which changes the meaning entirely)! That's just coarse! However, if you were dragged (up) through the bushes, what can one expect!!
Let's have a bit more focussed concentration tomorrow morning and blow burgess3334 out of the water! If I need to explain, burgess3334 (aka Alan) is the current MM Champion and will set his four words to be linked tomorrow at 9.00am and all you need to do is predict his chosen links!
While you're at it, there is also the International Version in the KM Links Game which should kick off at about 7.30am (tomorrow). Here, we are all chasing after Aquagility, who has shown everyone a clean pair of heels! He's kept in line by our Ozzie Organizer seekeerz (aka Steff) who rules the roost from "down under"!
We look forward to you taking part in some harmless fun. The Game is active for all/most of the weekend! If you are curious as to the level or cerebral stimulation this exercise will involve; just read on! (SEE BELOW)
Good evening crofter and burgess (can we skip the numbers?).
I have visitors this weekend, so may be unable to open the batting for you. I will see if I can sneak out for the paper before the rest of the house wakes up, but I hope sarumite is on anchor watch in case I fail.
Enjoy your serious nonsense, and your weekend. Aq.
And Steff, of course. i'm all of a dither this evening, trying to cook a meal - which is not what I was brought up to! (Cooking, during the greater part of my lifetime, was womens' work). So forgive me, Steff. Truly, we all depend on you!
Watch it Sarumite!!!! I'm here! Was going to my brothers, and had a reaction I think to antibiotics...been really 'iffy'...NO COMMENTS!!!!
Had a little rest and now here to help the ladies sort you men out!!
Aquagility....women's work!!!...you must be related to grasscarp's Italian husband who thinks the same!!
Thanks Jan!....I'll keep it our secret Sarumite?
Wonder how many books of obscure words has Alan read this week???.....I get no vibes with this setter!!!
