MM & KM Links Games

This will be the third week (of five) in the reign of gen2 (aka Braveheart) and I expect great things from the Marmite Mob in the next 24 hours. It is usually in Week 3 that the next Champion starts to assert HIS authority over the proceedings!

The out-and-out favourites are bangor, JMR27 & lysander, but they are being harassed by a chasing pack of 9 or 10 ~ all on a very healthy score of two points and well placed for a bit of back-stabbing!

However, I feel at any moment gen2 can turn nasty, and he is certainly three dimensional! Tonight will be cold and damp for the Shrubbery Squad, when they will need to be sharp at 09.00 tomorrow morning! That's the time when the MM Link Game is launched by gen2, who sets his four words to be linked by clever prediction or lucky guesswork (it matters not)!

If you think that that's early, the sister game (called KM links) will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! Look for seekeerz from Oz who looks after the entries and scoring for that parallel game (from a parallel universe).

Good luck for tomorrow, when I fear something sinister may happen and you will need to be dexterous to survive!

So, after after that drunken party in the shrubbery last weekend, most of you were well attuned for the 'drinks' theme. It obviously suited some more than others but overall twice as many points were scored compared with week 1. Can you keeep it up without the drinks? On this cold and wet Friday, why not build a camp fire and start a sing-song? Here's one to get you started:

Hello Crofter and Sarumite (and everyone else).As you see I behaved myself this week and waited for you to start Crofter. Pauline may be a little late as I have sent her 2 emails which make virtually no sense at all, so she is probably running screaming round her house!!
Perhaps this is why Much older brother is off to Yorkshire again instead of visiting me !!!!!
I really must go on a computer course.
Sorry Sarumite can't drink tonight, got some tablets from docs and NO alcohol to be taken,but i've got my snack a jacks so i'm happy!!

Crofter's remarks re The Marmite Mob, tells us we haven't a hope as we have no Marmite.
Then along comes Gen2 with a little ditty that we canny (sic) even understand.
We never get to share the drinks either.
We have a snowball's chance in 'you know where' and that's our excuse for our lousy performances.

Hi evsajo and ont-ice ... don't tell my sister (or gen2) but they're a strange lot north of the border, as you have already noticed ont-ice, they have an unintelligible language all of their own .. poor things!!??

The only tools you need Ont-ice are the ones in your brain. Pick up on my vibes and go with your instincts. Others have, and look where it's got them. It's this miserable weather that's getting people down. Throw another log on the fire and cheer up. Others will be along later to join in.

Ont-ice snack a jacks are a bit like crisps but my family describe them as polystyrene!!! I only like the caramel flavour, but there are savoury flavours too. Sorry I will be going in a minute as I still feel horrible so am going to have an early night in a nice warm bed. Good luck to you all with the campfire and the sing song. I used to be in the girl guides many years ago and we often built campfires Oh the memories!!!!!!!!

Hello all, it's wet even in this part of the shrubbery, but am wearing the very latest fashion garment - a plastic mac, with all sorts of goodies beneath its folds. Mind you, although I know what snack-a-jacks are (I love them) I can't get them out here so in the same boat as Ont-ice. Little chance of winning without them - any excuse for my dismal nil points will do - but will hope the marmite sarnies stir the odd brain cell I still have left.

Re-reading your post Crofter...what do you mean asserting HIS authority!...It might be a SHE...and she could be AMBIdextrous!!!..us women after all do multi task!!
