Crosswords in general

Are you allowed tippex on crosswords?

The general concensus is that you can so long as the end result is clear and legible. Some people use little bits of white sticky paper. I use a tippex mouse. But the best solution is to do it in pencil and either submit it in pencil or ink over your final answers.

I photocopy my crosswords but I do still have to use
Tippex if I copy something wrong. I think it should be
ok if its readable.

Thanks both. I should do them in pencil first, but I'm too lazy to go over them again in pen! Perhaps I'd better start.

Well, yes, it is a chore but it does give you chance to check your answers before you send it off. I have found a small word I have missed on more than one occasions by doing this.

I use a Paper Mate Eraser Max pen which allows you to change your answers really easily. Really worth trying, wouldn't be without mine!
