Do the round elasticated wire bands which are used to hold up sleeves on long sleeve shirts have a name?

I think they are just called Sleeve Garters ?

These things were always called armbands when I used them years ago (I've still got some somewhere). Never heard of "sleeve garters". Maybe different names in different parts of the country?
