No best answer has yet been selected by tpw536w. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.tpw536w - I hope you enjoyed being given these answers. Some of us have toiled long and hard to work these out for ourselves. Should you win a prize, no doubt you'll be claiming you have won, but of course, that wouldn't be the case would it? I assume you won't be sharing the prize money with those who have given you the answers?
Altivo and Peter 127 - thank you very much for rendering my personal hardwork a complete waste of time and effort.

thanks for your comments. On the 3 May I asked for a clue, not the answer. Yes I had already had a good look for that answer and eventually I found it through more hard work.
What is more, you will note that was the only time I have ever asked a question.
What I object to are the people who just ask for the answer outright. What pleaseure or satisfaction do they get from that - perhaps as one who does that, you would like to answer tpw536w?
Yes, I know it's an answer site - but how in the world do you ever hope to improve by just asking for the answer rather than looking for it yourself?
Anyway, don't forget to claim how much effort you put in to getting these answers.

I expect it is annoying if you have struggled to find the answers , but as everyone has said this is an answerbank site.I enjoy doing the quizzes for pleasure and also to help other people plus it helps a lot of charities, so if you are really that clever in being able to find all the answers I don't understand why you need to be on this site.
Just thought I should also remind everybody that in this particular quiz, the prize money will be divided amongst all who tie for first, second, or third places. So, if 100 tie for first prize, every one will receive 1.!!! This is unlike m ost quizzes, where one tied winner is drawn from a hat, and the rest receive nothing.
Whatever, boysinblue68......but, you know ,the reason I remembered the posting (ie when you asked for a clue? and not the answer!) you were not a happy bunny with the clue you were given!!!! ...QFC 03/05/07 21:34....you know it takes all sorts, with many different criteria of what we all want from our hobbies and interests, mine is just doing quizzes, spending hours searching for answers and cribbing an answer here and there! (don't tell me you haven't), and also giving away the answers!!....and my new years resolution is to stop rising to the bait!!!
candled - agreed I was not happy - I asked for a reasonable clue, but hardly got one (still that's water under the bridge now). I too enjoy doing quizzes and crosswords, but my pleasure comes from searching for the answer, not being given it on a plate - where is the enjoyment/satisfaction from that?
bibster - nowhere on this or any other post do I say that I am clever - quite the opposite in fact - but I don't feel comfortable entering a competition under my own name when I have been given many of the answers by other people - obviously very few share that value.
keyboardix - comments noted, but I repeat, where is the satisfaction from receiving "free" answers and then adding your own name to an entry form. I think it's called integrity and personally I value it very highly. The whole point of my original post was that these anagrams were not particularly easy, but here they had been given away. The prize money is of little importance - it's the challenge of taxing the grey matter - quite honestly, if I couldn't answer the questions using my own hard work, I'd rather not enter a competition.
