I think I am back into my routine after my two-week break in Tenerife ~ thanks to gen2 for the excellent cover during my absence. Tomorrow morning, Crown Jools will be in transit from the Isle of Wight, so I have been given responsibility for launching her final set of words to be linked.

By Sunday evening, there will be a brand new MM champion with the honour of setting the Link Words throughout the month of October. For different reasons, ex-champions Christiana & rogerr will be taken out of the equation: the first because she was a very recent winner and the second because she has opted so to do. In fact, rogerr was eligible for a second reign (there is no automatic lifetime ban on ex-champions) but for the sake of variety she has abdicated in advance! This selfless act has opened the field for an exciting finish.

As always, the competition will be fierce to be the first entrant with a correct link word and pick up bonus points. Either that or follow the first entrant with the SAME correct link word within two minutes. The so-called Shrubbery Squad will be there at 09.00 tomorrow morning, digits at the ready and most/all of the link words will be spotted within the first twelve entries.

These true aficionados will already have been up for two hours taking part in the sister game (called KM Links) in which the words to be linked come from Herculis in the DT! Look out for seekeerz, the Wizard(ess) of Oz who looks after the entries and scoring for that parallel game (from the other side of the world). We are both so busy looking after our respective Word Games, we never have time to confer!

Anyway, Good Luck for tomorrow. Whoever wins (and there are 3 or 4 with a realistic chance), October looks like being an interesting month.

:o)
Raring to go Crofter!!....now didn't I want a word with you!!!...something you might have said in the shrubbery lat week??!!.............I knew it..can't see him for dust now!!! ;-)
I have actually just put the telly on for the Rugby!!...Come on England...just wish I could follow the rules!
Welcome Back Crofter!
I have not been too well today but am now going out for a curry on a kill or cure basis!
Have fun in the shrubbery, Pauline may be very excited after watching thirty young men in shorts so be warned!
In shorts Alibobs!!! What a disappointment..they were naked last week! ...
I presume everyone is watching the Rugby!!...or in the pub!
Hi Pauline I am NOT watching the rugby, but have just finished talking to Nicky in Brixham and James in Stone(their check up on me !!!!!) I htink it's going to be quiet in here tonight and I was hoping to introduce the men to the age old sport of a ferret down the trousers!!
Hi Kay...lost my internet connection!!!
I am watching the Rugby as I am on laptop...good game England are winning!! Mind you from what little I know Wilkinson missed a few conversions and other kick shots whatever they are called!! Can't understand all the rules, but was getting quite excited before...must be the men in shorts as Alibobs says!...can't see any ferrets!!!

Might liven up when the game is over!
Are they all hiding somewhere? I wonder...are they are in a different shrubbery??....Hello is anybody there?
Hi Pauline and Evsajo ... have been watching rugby, but also " hands full " at present with other things on the home front !

At least England have now qualified for quarter finals, but against Australia they will need to play much better!!

Just be careful with those ferrets you two ... if I get chance to look back in, do I need to wear the cycle clips??
I watched the Rugby also Sarumite..believe it or not. I actually enjoyed it!...or was it the men??...hhmm! Think Kay is washing her ferrets at the moment!
Back again, but can't guarantee for how long !!

Perhaps our rugby boys should use those ferrets against Australia .. one or two of those down their shorts shoiuld certainly liven things up a bit !! :O)
Hi Pauline, and Kay and Sarumite when he comes back after his duties. Alan is home and enjoyed the rugby. I never understand the rules but shout along with all the others!!
Jan won't be here tonight will she?
Hi Laney...so glad Alan is home. Tell him I watched the Rugby...and ask him who squashed the ball?...and why is there no arguing with the Ref, fighting amongst the players and rolling around crying when they are tackled??...just isn't sport is it!...and the fans behave as well! What is this world coming to??
No..Jan's playing truant!
So pleased Alan is home Laney, and the rugby result was just the tonic ... not too optimistic about Oz in the next round, but I think perhaps evsajo is going to scupper those Aussies with her ferrets!!
Loved your summary of the game Pauline ... it's a different world isn't it? !!
Hey...and Sarumite...the fans mix together as well!! There were children and families stood together waving flags! Thought it was the proms!!
Alan says, glad you enjoyed the match, might you get converted to the squashed ball game? Come down here and he will teach you the rules! I just remembered Jan has gone to see Bill Connelly tonight I think. I must say good night and get himself tucked up in bed with his nightcap.
First night at home must make a fuss of him!
Hope Kay has finished dealing with her ferrets!!!
Tell Alan...goodnight and you have some looking after too!! You both need it now! ...I shall go to bed later dreaming of men chasing odd shaped balls with ferrets down their shorts and Kay running after them with the shower head!! What an image!!!
