beetroot is a root with green leaves lol
Mushrooms?-tho they are fungus not plant...hmmmm?

Only plant without leaves I can think of is cactus. Is this a trick question?

Thanks for your replies everybody. I am most in agreement with 'pastafreak' that mushrooms is the answer. I had previously considered this as an answer but for the same reason classed it as a fungus rather than a plant. Perhaps fungi are classed as a branch of the plant family.

i think the answer could be asparagus, as it has fern not leaves.
