Roy Taylor and Michael Austin ?

Does anybody remember these bucolic characters ? Coming hot on the news of a special Islamic car (onboard compass pointing to Mecca, special compartment for the Koran and jilbabs, execution sword sheathed under the back seat), I distinctly remember Roy Taylor and Michael Austin proposing exactly the same thing in the 80s. They were butchers in Ely rather than Muslim vehicle designers, which maybe explains why their idea was not taken up at the time, but they did suggest it. Maybe Ely in 1985 was not the most fertile ground.

Sorry Whiffey.... I've been just a tad busy - with life and stuff and cooking (onions, chillies, garlic, lemon grass, celery, mushrooms, brocolli etc etc) - am about to make an egg noodle stir fry and then sprinkle on some fresh coriander..

I have no idea about those guys, never heard of them, sorry !
