news report this morning

I thought i heard something on the early morning news this morning about some famous person dying aged 42, after a battle with cancer. However I didn't hear who it was and it was not on any other news bulletins

Does anyone know who this was or did i dream it?

Wasn't Mike Gregory the rugby player was it? He died recently. I think it was a neurological disorder though rather than cancer.

Yes that was it! Obviously I was a bit asleep - wonder where i got cancer from!
