Intense blushing
4 Answers
Hi Guys,
Any good tips for curing blushing, its a dreadful fear of mine and to be honest its really affecting my life. I blush for no reason at all, mostly at work and as a result I avoid meetings, reviews that kind of thing, its really putting a downer on my chances of pursuing career prospects because I just avoid situations where I may blush and of course the more I worry about it the more it happens. I dont feel that it showing the best of myself because I always fear that if I say what I feel i will blush and people will think badly of me. I know this may sound trivial but im getting quite desperate to be rid of the problem. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

It can be cured initially by going to your doctor, explaining the panic attacks and ask for Fluoxetine tablets. These take the "edge" of situations that you describe and as a result you develop an inner confidence and can speak out without fear. You become more confident and then eventually can reduce the tablets. Once you start taking them daily, they need about 2 weeks to get into your system to provide the full effect. Don't worry, they will not make you drowsy or anything. Good Luck and rise above it with a little initial help.
