MM & KM Links December 2007 [Week 1]

This will be the first week in the reign of Queen Kay and she has been working very hard to acquire the IT skills to fulfil her royal duties tomorrow. However, one thing that she is strong at is in her selection of creative themes. Tomorrow's game looks like being "lively"!

I expect great activity from those miscreants lurking in the Shrubbery. For the first week you can only go with your gut instinct and hope for the best! Recall last week I put my money on evsajo, so I can usually smell victory ~ but only after a couple of weeks' results!

I'll be standing by from about 8.30 in the morning, just in case! The MM Link Game should be launched by Queen Kay, who will set her four words to be linked at 9.00am.

The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the tucker (eyeball*, te*ticles and peni*es according to "I'm a Celebrity"). Suddenly, marmite sarnies and tinnies doesn't sound too bad! Seriously, seekeerz does a fantastic job keeping scores for that parallel game.

"Ta*ty te*ticles" is an example of a DOUBLE DECKER! "What's one of those"?
You'll soon be wishing that you never asked!

Helloo ooo Is anyone driving. Does anyone know where we�re going. I don�t fancy the jungle. Mind you anything�s better than Gen 2�s backyard ' ' it�s full of rocky horrors, all sorts of nasties. Get a puncture there and anything could happen.

No Pauline I am still here. S seems very quiet tonight and I am worried about who is driving the bus!!
I don't think the suggestion to go to the empty jungle is a very good one as they showed it now it is empty with rats everywhere!!!
Don't know how much sleep i will get as i have got my BIG day tomorrow. Just my luck for the computer to play up!

I'll have you know Christiana that my 'back yard' is free of rocks. All those 'Rocky Horrors have been posted out to you lot. But I may be able to dig up a few more if anyone hasn't got one yet.

Think I've got most of the anagrams..and some of the others, but must admit I am struggling a bit now!!

Quite new to cryptics really...only a year or so before I tackled them seriously!

I knew it. We�re in Gen 2�s back yard - again! I reckon it's not so much soap as all the soapstone I've swallowed lately trying to do his infernal quiz. I'm beginning to foam at the mouth just thinking about it. Anybody out there got a book entitled "All you never wanted to know about rocks and minerals"?

After hearing comments about Gen2's quiz I'm afraid I'm so rubbish at cryptic clues I will carry on with the less taxing quizzes I've got. Just had one about dogs and also got one with gen. knowledge and pictures, not very inspiring but just what I need at the moment.
Really I am OK about tomorrow now Pauline, had a lesson on paste and cut etc. today from Crofter and as you say if it goes wrong to begin with so what, I'm sure Iill be able to sort it. The Link may be a bit late but i'll get it on one way or another!
I think another large Baileys is called for!!!

'Soapstone' Christiana? Does that mean you've half solved one of my clues? But dont go blaming that for your bubbles - I've been trying to reproduce them on my keyboard and failed - just finished up with a great big drusy cavity!

I can't do those quizes with the pictures evsajo...I just never know who they are!!! Faces and names don't go together for me!!

Try U.K English, Gen 2, so much more 'bubbly' than the American version - at least it is on mine.

I'm with you on the faces and pictures Pauline - even the rocks suit me better. Still they say Diamonds are a girl's best friend.
