Can this be scallop? If so, I cannot see the connection!

Not sure but the middle is 'call' which is the ring, to ring someone, to call someone. Leaves SOP which could be an abbreviation for something - like secret operation, or silence observed please.

Queenie is a mollusc. It is a delicacy in the Isle of Man, and is a type of scallop. I can recommend them!
