Nationwide bus travel

People over 60 have bus passes to enable them to free local travel. From April of this year this is being extended to free NATIONWIDE bus travel.

This means that to travel to a distant relative or even a tour of England will require a good route planner to join up all the interconnections. Does a nationwide route planner exist for bus travel only?

although it's regionalised rather than national. each region has a journey planner and you can filter out all transport modes except buses if required.

I wonder if it would be possible to travel from Birmingham to London this way - and how long it would take if it can be done.

I have been watching this with interest ! Since we both now have a bus pass my husband has come up with the crazy idea of travelling from where we live in Norfolk to London by bus ! I do begin to wonder ......:))
I said that if this was what he wished to do ,go ahead and I would see him in a week or so . It must be like planning a route march . I think he says these things to annoy me !

It should be feasible but would take forever I would think .
It's only on public transport that you can use your bus pass .I don't think it's for National Express too ..or is it ?
