Desperation.

I'm fairly new to PC's and I have a problem with Microsoft "Word".
When I try to make a table and after designating the number of columns and rows I then press next but nothing happens.Why.

How are you creating your table? I don't believe there is a "next" button. I just click on table --> insert --> table then choose the number of rows and columns and click on "ok".

You may be best posting in technology rather than the quiz section.

I was about to say exactly the same. I don't have a next button. If you follow the directions from squarebear you should be fine.

No there certainly isnt a next button if you mean word from microsoft office

How stupid of me.!!!!!!!.It is when I press GO that nothing happens.
It seems to me that somewhere along the way that I have pressed some button that prevents the "table" from appearing.I have used this facility recently with no problem hence the desperation.!!!!!!
I will as you suggest post the question on Technology but in the meantime thank you for your response.

Even more stupidly it's when I press OK that nothing happens.(Well I did say that I was fairly new to PC's.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
