MM and KM Links April 2008 [Week 2]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this second week in the reign of Lady Judy, who is zooming up a steep learning curve ~ but last week she was superb! The launch was perfect and her chosen links were inventive. We are looking for "the same again" and taking one week at a time.

What will be in store for you lucky linkers tomorrow morning? Only time will tell! The site should open about 8.45 am and the four words to be linked will be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest.

The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Keep your eyes open for seekeerz from Oz, who works on antipodean time and is back to keep law and order among the ranks. She then collates the entries and keeps score. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?

I am going to keep the message brief tonight as we are playing out tonight! When I return I shall check up what's been happening in The Shrubbery! So be good!

we did Pimms Royale, with 1 part Pimms to 6 parts Carva
the offer is if you buy both the Carva and the Pimms you save �6 so the carva is only 99p from �6,99
making the pair only �13.83p
went very well with the Meditteranean bread we were doing as well

Oh jan, even if you dose up Pimms these days with Cava it still only has about the kick of a mug of China tea as they have so reduced the alcohol level of Pimms (but increased the price, typically!).
Make your Pimms Royale as you do but chuck in a measure or two of Tanqueray gin and every evening with will have a beautiful sunset!

the Pimms went ok, some people found the carva too dry
others thought it needed more Pimms, cannot please everyone
same again tomorrow and Sunday!
cannot add anything to it Strix not while I am at work
now at home that is a different matter!

Pauline, my dear, I was cooking, serving and eating supper. Now loading dishwasher having emptied earlier load. Hence my absence between my first appearance and now.
Soon off to bed as the family have to be up and off at five a.m. tomorrow.
Mrs Strix regards this computer as the work of the devil and will hardly walk into this room without clutching garlic and a holy cross, so little chance of her finding out about you lot!
