MM and KM Links May 2008 [Week 4]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this final week in the reign of Lady Judy, who has done exceptionally well for a person who couldn't "Cut and Paste" a few weeks ago! I tell you this in case the newly appointed MM Links Champion gets worried when they are chosen on Sunday evening at 7.00pm. This setter has certainly tested your mettle when it comes to lateral thinking. You have been warned!

There are several AB-Linkers who are well placed to carry off the MM trophy and I look forward to a keenly contested final round. The site should open about 8.45 am tomorrow morning and the four words to be linked will be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest.

Speaking personally, I am looking forward to the international version of this same game is called KM Links, which kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Firstly, we are anticipating the return of seekeerz our very own Wizard of Oz, who has been experiencing problems with her PC. Secondly, I am in pole position and only one point ahead of the chasing field. I usually log on about 8.30am ~ far too late for bonus points!

Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? There are only four weeks this month, so we're in the home straight. Will I fall at the final jump? Will I be pipped at the post? All will be revealed VERY soon!

Where is everyone tonight?? I am playing scrabble on Facebook with someone who is at work and playing in her office. Earlier i played someone in Iceland!!!! Have to keep jumping from Scrabble to here until game is finished

I am in and out, trying to watch a program on BBC 2 called Across the Andes, I have been watching it for a few weeks its about a group of disabled teenagers on an expedition - really enlightening.

Kay...Katie is just cutting up a Stockport County flag to 'cover' the hats!...I am wearing the tall one!!! :-))

Did you watch it all Pauline, aren't they great kids with such a lot of guts, overcoming so many physical disabilities.

Pauline, do exactly what you want to them and don't worry. They won't be worn again by the family so please just do whatever you need to do. Tell Katie I will expect to see her handiwork when she has finished.
Which one is the tall one? Is it the multi coloured one?

You know Laney...programmes like that always make me feel so humble and inadequate...fantastic aren't they.

They are an amazing bunch of kids with all sorts of different disabilities and have have overcome so many obstacles. Over the weeks we have seen them grow into maturer people and their characters have all come to the fore and become more caring about each other. You are right it does make you feel very humble.
I'll watch out for you with the big hat?!!

Still playing Laney. It's all in one corner of the board and it's virtually impossible to get a decent word in.I am also playing a girl from America and was doing OK and she just got a 7 letter word.
Pauline how should you get noticed. !!!Just tell the man with the loudspeaker to say "Pauline from AB is here" and everyone will know who you are!!!!!!!!

I saw Jan has been listening to Magic Am - We listen to that. It's the only station we can find that plays decent music. :-))

Any news on your daughters job?

They are still running the investigation..a person they need to interview is on holiday...and the law says I have to give at least 28 days!

Smooth fm radio is good!...My next door neighbour's son is autistic...and whenever he gets in my car for anything he manages to find it and play it...and I must admit I sing along!!...all golden oldies!!
