Dripping in the attic during heavy rain

I heard like a dripping sound in my attic yesterday. I heard it once before and only happens during heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. I went and saw a small water drip near the partition wall with the neighbor (next to the chimney). Would I have to get whole roof replaced or is it possible and cheaper to get it sorted. I have placed a bucket there for the time being. Thanks.

You should start looking for a roofer that you can trust. My friend spent 600 on having a 'leak' fixed, only to find the water was coming in on her neighbours roof & tracking accross into her roof then through her ceiling!
Contact your neighbour & find out if they are having a problem too. Unless they've had repairs done recently, the flashing on their chimney will be in a similar state as yours & it will be cheaper to jointly employ the roofer to do both repairs.
