I think you're limiting your chance of a reply when you only ask 1 person on here for help, when there could be dozens of us with ideas, also you're limiting the chance of a reply by not actually giving the question.

Sorry, I was unavailable - out shopping.

Even had I been here, I would have been unable to help since I had no idea what number 36 was. When you asked the quoted clue before, you called it number 3 ! Very confusing.

I see you've been given the answer now but strictly speeking it was not an anagram. If you follow the wordplay you will see that:-

lesion = SORE
'comes back' means write it backwards. i.e. EROS
'in' means inside
joint = KNEE
'broken' joint suggests an anagram of KNEE (K ENE)

so the anagram only applied to the 'joint' part.
