Can anyone point me in the right direction for these picture questions: 79 90 92 97 99
Lots of others to do and am running out of time.
Apologies to those without a copy of the quiz to refer to.
Many thanks

No best answer has yet been selected by ringer. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.hazelb - Ivorbiggun may be putting his point rather bluntly, but this is a competition. If someone can't find an answer under their own steam, they should either guess or leave a blank space. As this is a charity quiz, they have already supported the charity by buying the quiz, so why do they need to cheat and ask for answers?
I don't see why someone who does the hardwork and searches for the answers by themselves should have to compete with someone who openly asks for answers to be put in the public domain.

I'm fed up with the thought police, be it Ivor..., Podger..., etc. I wouldn't necessarily give answers, I'd rather be a bit more cryptic, but, as I said in a reply to Tallulah... if you keep having a go at people I'll give the what I have as answers, purely because I will not be cowed by you:
I have
79 - Steve Cram
92 - Havant Hockey Club
99 - Roland Garros
Apologies if they are incorrect

hazelb - "if you keep slagging people off" - you're words not mine. I think you need to think about your threats to Ivorbiggun.
There is nothing wrong with healthy competition, but please let's not help these people who cannot be bothered to put in the hard work themselves. All it does is ruin a great quiz and turn it into a lottery.

If it turned into a lottery then there would be large numbers of people with full marks. I'm not sure but all the while I've done QfC no-one has EVER got full marks; there always seems to be someone who has managed to get more than anyone else - surely Ivorbiggun or Podger123!! Why they have to worry about the rest of us poor people scrabbling around in 'the dirt' for one or two minor (if difficult to find) answers I don' t know. Still I don't care and I refuse to bow to anyone with the temerity to be so rude to others on this site. So if Ivorbiggun (and Podger123 if they enter?) win the quiz - as seems inevitable from the idea that they have the answers to Qs others have difficulty with I say well done - but don't stop others having a little help and enjoying the community of others on this site.
If they continue their campaign I will, as far as I can, continue with giving answers even if they're not asked for.

Gosh - I seem to have stirred up a hornets' nest. If you look at my request I asked to be pointed in the right direction - i.e. perhaps a hint or two. If you care to look back I nearly always ask for HINTS and not the answers. I have spent hours on this quiz and have lots more blanks but I am persevering. Also, because I enjoy entering these quizzes I try to donate more than the entry fee - I wonder how many people do that? Thank you to those who are prepared to give a hint and apologies if I have offended anyone.
ringer - I too have spent many hours searching for answers
to this quiz. I still have a few gaps, but I wouldn't dream of asking for answers (or hints) on here or anywhere else. If I can't find the answer myself, I will either have a guess or leave a blank space. There can be no fun or learning involved if you're simply given the answer. Learn by leaving a blank space, look at the answers when they are returned and work it out then, so you'll be better prepared for the future. If you have lots more blanks, why do you choose to ask for hints on some and not others? It's comendable that you donate more than the entry fee, but the charity are getting the money, so why do you need to get other people to answer the questions for you?

mattydog - you are clearly missing the poiint. It maybe that no one has got full marks (but I seem to recall theer have been one or two), but that means the scoring at the top of the leaderboard will be very close. So one or two questions will normally prove to be crucial. So where is the satisfaction from some lazy people asking for answers on here and simply being given the answers. I (and I should imagine) many others have searched long and hard for answers - if i can't find an answer myself, I'll have a guess or leave a blank space. I see no pride in using someone else's answers on my answersheet.
