just substitute 5 for n in the formula

ie

5(5+3)

= 5 * 8

= 40
40-----taking n as 5-- 5 x 8==40
Just a small hint for you Sexpot. Some time ago I heard an interview with a member of the Independent staff who was involved in picking winners for comps. She said that she didn't even look at those entries which spelled the word "Independent" with an "a" so check before you submit your answers.
