Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is anyone else doing this quiz? I have everything else answered, right or wrong, (so if anyone wants an answer, please shout), but I just cannot find the answer to 82 - Who was Britains best loved poet who died in his beloved Cornwall in January 1981.

Please help.

Thanks but according to Wikipedia, John Betjeman died in 19th May 1984......so it can't be, unless the quiz compiler has it wrong...

this question has been asked before, could be a typing error in the quiz. The answer was given as Sir John Betjeman

Doubt if it's a typo....I can understand getting the year wrong, but the month as well?

I would go with Betjeman - he was definitely the best loved poet of his time and he loved Cornwall and died there.
So unlikely as it seems the date must be wrong !

If you Google it then it comes up with the following:

While on a visit in April 1981, the poet suffered a stroke which ... He died just a month later, on May, 19 at his home in Cornwall with his beloved

However, if you open the link then you realise that where the dots are it goes on to say that he went on with a nurse in attendance, visiting Derbyshire in April 1984....... Possibly the question was set according to this without the person having read the information correctly.

So, am sure it is correct. Hope you win!
