Strange Thing
There was a story in the local paper (NYC) about a Corrections Officer (Prison Guard) who was killed at his off-duty job as a club bouncer. He told someone to get off a table and they beat him to death. He also was a caddy at a golf club and the people there are doing a fund raiser for his wife and children. Apparently he was so well liked that the prisoners are actually contributing their own money to the fund. The news reported that nothing like that has ever happened before. I was touched by this story. He must have been quite a person.
