Good evening Linkers. I'm slightly earlier than usual since Mrs gen2 is taking me out for a meal tonight. You probably also spotted that this is not your familiar Crofter opening the shrubbery gates since he is away for the weekend and has asked me to stand in once again and look after you lot.
The fame (or notoriety) of 'The Shrubbery' is spreading far and wide. Did you see that earlier this week someone posted this question (from the 'So and So' quiz).
39 ) Eldest of herd may be found singing in the shrubbery (3, 4, 4)
Try as I might, I just couldn't manage to fit our matriarch, Pauline, to those letters. Not much luck with fitting Strix either.
Oh dear Srix your comment about my trip has really made me laugh, the neighbours think i am mad again, sitting here laughing on my own!!!!!
Gen2 will post them in both places if you want, and on the notice board outside Morrisons. That takes some doing from a computer, but don't worry I will manage it !!!!!!
Pauline will confirm i can do all sorts of things on this computer which she just can't figure out!!!!
Good night gen2,
Butcher Cumberland and all that, the really sad thing is how many Scots fought on the English side.
I was going to post Flowers of the Forest but will save that for a more sombre occasion.
My wife's ancestor's relative (nephew of hime) was Sheridan the Jacobite, one of the Seven Men of Moidart.
Sorry to be a party pooper but need my sleep ready for the high seas tomorrow.
I went to see "Mama Mia" on Wednesday and so to all of you who have put music links on here tonight I just want to say Goodnight and...........
