Time quiz

Is anyone doing this quiz? I am down to the last five questions and I am totally wiped out of ideas. I haven't come across any postings.

4, Both the farmer and his son have it in them.
15, A gear shift with no reverse.
20, Could be a man or word.
24, Did a funny turn in a month.
39, Sounds like the ornament has no come back.

I know there is 12 days to go but I am going away next Tuesday and need to get it sent in, closing date is 30 sept 08. Thanks, Kath.

Might well be a sort of thing = night
Get the paper to call someone = sundial

Vicasso, I have already got second as an answer but I like your thinking. I will go with johnalex's answer. Have you any ideas on why it could be friday? I get the man friday bit but not the word. Kath.

Liking that better than friday Vicasso but still not sure. Kath
