Bluestone Heath Road?
Question Author
how did you get bluestone heath road
I wasn't at all sure of what I was answering, but Pinkneys Green is an anagram of 'keeping henry's den ' without he'd, so I reckoned it might be worth putting in.
:-))

yes I agree with that answer it is the one from flopsymopsy that I dont understand
Are the answers arranged as a route across the UK? What are the places before and after 'Roman's monkey etc ..' ?
Question Author
It is after Golders Green and before Silverstone e.g. (somewhere in between)
sorry if I jumped in where I shouldnt. Like Ladyalex I did not really know what I was answering,l except that your clue said route across the uk name include a colour - the Bluestone Heath Road is a Celtic or Roman road which runs the length of the Lincolnshire Wolds: I was thinking on the lines of Ermine Street, Watling Street etc which are Roman roads which cross the country but dont have a colour in their name. sorry if its caused any confusion. As the theme is colours, it just seemed a good answer at the time.
P.S. is there also a motor racing theme going on here?moss2 has an answer near to Silverstone; the Bluestone Heath Road runs right past Cadwell Park motor circuit. This is getting daft now, I'm off to my Dance Exercise Class to try and lose an ounce or two. NOT. :o)
Question Author
thanks flopsymopsy.
