Hi, can anybody help me here please, I remember a game where a lady hostess would say "up, up,up", and it was a kind of opportunity knocks programme. I have searched on the Internet all night before coming to the answerbank but to no avail. I know she died of cancer in her early years. Many thanks in advance.

It isn't much to go on. Why did they have a game on a talent show? Why was she saying up, up, up?

I can see where you are coming from Mamyalynne but you are right, Anne Aston did not die young, she was 55 when Bob Monkhouse died and paid tribute to him in a newspaper article. But the contestants did say up,up,up. The only other one I remember where the contestants might call this (not the hostess) was Play your cards right - I think that's what it was called with Bruce Forsythe.
