Oblivion

With no keys pressed, my character goes backwards. I loaded the game for the first time last night and found it disconcerting to have my 'hero' stumble about in his prison cell. Obviously in oblivion. I was wondering if I had a permanent keystroke from my 's' key (no spare keyboard to try ) or am I doing something basically wrong. Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated. Please no songs about ' I'm walking backwards to Xmas' Many thanks.

Do you have a joystick or gamepad attached?

Thanks :pagan:. As soon as I read your answer it was blindingly obvious what my problem was. I still had a gamepad connected but forgotten about. Disconnected, and now it's all singing and dancing. Thanks again. COLIN293
