Arthritus in hand??-too many computer games??
3 Answers
This is actually a question about my boyfriend.
For the past month his right hand has been acheing.
We thought maybe was repetitive strain or something as uses hands alot at work and also he plays alot of computer games so maybe too many of them.
But then a few weeks ago a hard lump appeared on his hand, about the size of a 10p coin.
It's just slightly raised on his hand near his thumb.
Then this morning he was making breakfast and two things slipped out of his right hand-he smashed a glass.
He is starting to worry that he' got arthritus or soemthing in his hand. He's only 25 but has played computer games alot since he was 5 so years of abuse on hands.
However there is no problem with his left hand?
Hs anyone heard of anything like this or know what it is?
He's got time off work this week so maybe if give work and computer games a rest then may go?
He has booked a doc's appointment for 2nd Jan but wondered if it's something minor then put he's mind at ease over xmas.
Thanks
