daniela31 Short answer to that one is no, in fact you usually find they get round this by posting it under local quiz, childs homework or just blatantly go ahead and ask anyway. People on here go under a user name anyway so a quiz setter has no idea who that is when marking entries.

Great idea Oddboddy (but not sure what the other half would say!) There's enough flowers on the Greek isles without cluttering them up with secondhand rosettes.

Can i make a suggestion. Could it be that when people advertise a quiz that it is made clear what sort of quiz it is so that way you don't end up with a quiz on a subject you dislike or are likely to find difficult. I have sent away for some in the past only to receive back subjects that i don't like. eg general knowledge. Perhaps an example could be included.

I often end up with dingbats or worse pictures and ditloids I cant do either I just pay up and bin it or put it on the overflowing table where it never sees the light again lol
I agree it would be nice to know in advance but then theres always the fun of waiting to see what turns up.

Yes i know what you mean but thought maybe it might reduce the long lists of questions that have got peoples back up today.
I'm now afraid to ask much incase i get someone having a go at me. Most people say they do the quizzes for pleasure so i really can't see what all the fuss is about if it isn't about winning but i must say it has made interesting reading this afternoon and evening lol
