Day or Night Quiz

the first part is the song title ,containing the word night, day, tonight etc.the second part is the singer or band.I have been unable to use the website that smouse suggested to solve this, so answers not clues please. I suspect the compiler might have used the "T" to represent "The" when thesingers or groups dont necesaarily start with "The", but I may be wrong.

yes thank you mammyalynne-its such a relief to have finished the quiz at last,especially when other people seem to have used a shortcut that I didn't understand.It had got to the point where the amount of time required to finish the quiz was spoiling my enjoyment of it, but if I hadn,t, the amount of time already put in would have been wasted. Remind me to avoid quizzes based on pop song or singers in the future!
