Good morning everyone - and how are all the walking [?] wounded this morning ?? I gather some sprained ankles have been added to ongoing saga of Strix and his leg !!!

Sounds a bit like Richard in The Camomile Lawn - he was always going on about his leg and what he could or couldn't do because of said leg. I'm expecting a clout round the ears from one of the lethal crutches anyday soon, so remind me to duck !!!

I'm very glad to report that the heat has for the foreseeable future has departed - what it has left in it's wake is not so easy to cope with, we were very lucky not to have something similar happen here.

Some time in the not too distant future someone will post this morning's links for us - I've closed the book on just who that might be !! - as well as their own selections and then let battle commence.

The game continues until Sunday midnight and when the matches are posted later in the morning, I shall get busy with the bean counter.

Please tell me if the posting of the links connections are any help - it seems like brizzer missed out last week, being unable to pass page 10 - it's a bit like Monopoly, go to jail, go straight to jail, etc.
