MM Links February 2009 [Week 2]
50 Answers
A heart-felt "Good Morning" AB-Linkers from Queen Dusty. This is the second week of my reign and, as chance would have it, we land on a notable date that would be difficult to ignore. My immediate challenge is for me to replicate the IT skills of last week (which is far from certain)!
As crofter intimated last week, love can take many forms and I recall him confessing to be a Dusty Springfield fan and a Newcastle United supporter! He can sure pick them!

In spite of being born and brought up in Watford, I am an ardent supporter of Liverpool FC. However, domestic commitments meant that I was well into my fifties before I got the opportunity of actually visiting the hallowed turf at Anfield for a home match. I remember it well, it was on 28th December 1998 (a Christmas treat) and levels of excitement were running high. As if by pure coincident, the opposition on the day was Newcastle United (would you believe).
Unfortunately, our train driver forgot to stop at Watford Junction to pick us up we were left stranded. Our spirits plummeted. Frantic phone calls were made and the next through train made an unscheduled stop at Watford to pick up about 30 very relieved (but very well-behaved) fans and literally got us on track! We had a glorious day and I even remember the score, although crofter might wish to forget. We won 4 - 2!

As with all previous setters, I shall follow the rules relating the word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one or more of your attempts! Each of my selected words may go in front of or after my challenge word. The competition will officially close at 7.00pm on Sunday evening when crofter will declare my selected words (if we are still friends) then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My second set of words to be linked should appear below at 9.00am.
