Having a problem with this question
7. The first woman to sail across the Atlantic alone (6,8)

Have found references to these two people as being the first to cross solo
Ann Davidson in 1953 and
Nicolette Milnes-Walker in 1971

Neither of these fit with the surname having to start with G.
Anyone having any better luck, to point me in the right direction please

Ive found the same problem - but the quiz setter has been emailed and has assured me that this is correct and there is someone with the G initial

Im thinking maybe its not a straightforward clue - but I havent worked it out yet

I emailed the quiz setter enquiring about this one. She assures us there is somebody beginning with "G" but we would be very clever to find it. I too got the same frustrating answers as you Cornelia, and just don.t know where else to look for the answer. I can only hope somebody comes up with the answer here, and put us all out of our misery.I have also found a mistake with the number of letters to question 42 i.e (6,5)Have you found that tooCornelia & Tazmac?
