I've just returned from the Supermarket with arms filled with Easter Eggs. On Sunday, the Croft will be playing host to the family (including grandson, Harry). Consequently, I am running a little late in announcing that this will be the second week when Baron Brian will once again set the words to be linked!
Tomorrow morning should be business as usual; the posting should open at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am for Week 2 of our Link Game ~ hopefully with lots of points on offer. Of course, it will also be the second week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.
xray, it is all to do with the goddess Eostre (or Eastre) and all the eggs and bunny rabbits (and the Resurrection) have to do with new life and re-birth after the long winter months.
So that explains the eggs and the bunnies but I am not sure where chocolate comes into the mythology!
Well, jan, one of the harpies has sauntered off to some port in the nether regions of England to overdose her daughter and grand-children with Cacao and the other is probably trying to find a recipe for chocolate-Regs!
Right, lads, now we now who's doing the washing-up, lets break out the best glasses and china, open a few bottles and order in some take-away Indian and Chinese. First one to be sick is a sissy
