My shopping trip
2 Answers
I don't want to give the impression I'm a tad grumpy, but I just came back from shopping and have a few questions:
Why do bus drivers never wave a thank you when you stop to let them by, even when it's your right of way?
Why do people in supermarkets park their trolleys right across the aisle when they stop to gaze at a shelf?
Why can't people hand over their credit card at the check out as soon as the last item's rung through and finish packing while it's being processed, instead of putting every item away first before spending the next 5 minutes digging out the card while everyone waits for them?
Why do drivers think pedestrians should get out of their way when they want to drive across a pavement?
Why don't people talking on mobiles stand still so that they won't get in everyone's way, as they're clearly oblivious to all around them?
And why do they need to talk at 100 decibels?
Why do wasps exist (one stung me this morning)?
I feel better now.
