Have you seen the route on a map? Rather you than me! On the map that I saw, it is Nea Arvi.
Also there are other errors in the Scotsman Factfinder this week. In 1ac "Thrissil" has 2 ss, in 30ac there should be "thought" between "ingenious" and ""with", 31ac is (3,4) not (7) and 32ac is (6,3,4) and not (6,3,3).
I find the crossword difficult enough without added problems but there is satisfaction at overcoming them.

I have noticed a general downturn in the quality of this puzzle over the last year or so. Some of it may be down to proofreading errors but not all.
The thing that bugs me most is when there are more than than one possible solution. Last weeks had one solution which was 'Hithe' or 'Hythe' as the second letter letter was not a crossing.
At least the paper published both in the solutions but this does not happen often in my experience.
